T&P Cell:
Golaghat Polytechnic has an active Training and Placement Cell (TPC) that plays a significant role in offering Internship programs to its students from the three branches of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering. The TPC aims to provide holistic development to the students of the institution for which it organizes various skill development programs, career guidance programs as well as entrepreneurship awareness programs from time to time in collaboration with reputed Institutions and companies like Tool Room and Training Centre, Mahindra Pride Classroom, etc.
The Placement Cell organizes several online recruitment drives for the students of three branches conducted by various companies such as TATA Hitachi, Essel Propack, etc., and has made arrangements for its students to appear in pool campus recruitment drives at various institutions. Moreover, the TPC organizes awareness campaigns regarding Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) as well as Polytechnic Education as a whole in nearby government as well as private schools. The Cell also takes initiative in organizing special classes on Joint Lateral Entry Examination (JLEE) for the final semester students of the three branches. The Training and Placement Cell is very much open to conduct campus recruitment drives in collaboration with various Industries and organizations in the near future
